[edit] What the Hell is Urban Dead
Urban Dead is a MMORPG. About Zombie Apocalypse. You can choose to be a human survivor, or a zombie corpse. This group is for the Corpses. If you're interested in being alive, go to The Uncyclopedian Forces. We're here to turn the city of Malton into a zombie paradise.
Join the Urban Dead world!
Visit the Urban Dead WIki for beginners help and other useful info about Urban Dead. Our survivor counter-part group, The Uncyclopedian Forces, has a page on the UD Wiki. We don't yet, as we are still forming up.
All of the Uncyclopedian Forces groups share an IRC channel, at irc.freenode.net #unforces.
[edit] The Uncyclopedian Corpses
We're here to eat harman brains, ransack buildings, kill survivors, turn off those blinding lights, silence those damned radios, and kill the dreaded blinking lights of the Mobile Phone Towers.

[edit] Strategy Considerations
If you have any good advice, please feel free to add your tips on strategy here.
[edit] First Day Undead in Malton
[edit] Find a horde, dude
Nothing screams "HEADSHOT PLZ" like a lone zombie. If you mix yourself in with a crowd of other zombies, you can use them as meatshields. And what better form of meatshield than a mess of shambling meat puppets?
[edit] Hey! Listen!
Hear those groans? Those are where the food is. Follow them and you can get your undead mitts on sweet, sweet XP. If you're low-level(which you are, seeing as you're reading this), you can't open buildings or break down the cades by yourself. Let somebody else do it, and vulture off their hard work.
[edit] If all else fails, SMASH!
Smashing barricades and mobile generators still give XP, which will be vital early on in zombiehood. The more XP you get, the easier it is to keep yourself alive.
[edit] 4: Improve one type of attack first
There is a time and place for having a maxed out attack tree, and that is when you already have a truckload of XP. Before then, focus your combat skills on one attack type. Claws are good for getting XP, but you can get teeth instead if you want a bunch of cool effects to go with it.
[edit] 5: Use your time among the living well
If there is anything to be said about survivors, it's that they've got many, many ways of getting XP available to them. You may want to spend time alive searching for items you can use to easily obtain XP. First Aid Kits are a great choice for this, as is a knife or (if you have some XP already) a DNA extractor. Not to mention the benefit of having a flak jacket to reduce damage from those pesky firearms. Body Building is another biggy, as it gives you 10 more meatshield-points. It's also not unknown for a survivor to come across a 60HP flak-jacketed zed, and decide that they're not worth the trouble.
