You CAN copy and paste to begin a new article (its called SPORKING) but the trick is to change as much as possible BEFORE you first save the page. You can use the Show Preview button whilst you are making amendments to see how it looks. I'd also consider starting off new articles in your own userspace, rather than in the mainspace, where they stand more chance of deletion if they are at a very early stage of development. Er, no, that's not how it works. A page with "someone create this article" on it will still probably get deleted despite the construction tag because there's nothing on it. If you want the page creating, at least make an effort, put something there and then add an {{expand}} tag or a {{rewrite}} tag. You'll probably get a better response to messages left on talkpages if you place them at the bottom of the page (or, in the case of some users - who will generally let you know on their pages - at the top) rather than sticking it in the middle of old ones like you did on Mhaille's. If you want to help out (for which you deserve applause, btw), clicking the Things to do link which appears on the left of your screen is a good place to start.
