I was actually looking at the QFA lists for something to nominate, since VFH was getting dangerously thin on article count, when I spotted the error. I'm just getting in to the whole "funny" thing, I've been without a sense of humor for the majority of my life (goddamn you, Southern Baptist Convention). What about the article is particularly unsuitable, or does the whole thing suck more than your mom on tequila night? I'll get on it, I just want to know where to start. Hmmm . . . I see your point. I will work on getting some images, but I don't know if it would be a little TOO distasteful to put ACTUAL shotacon in the article . . . albeit, some of it is so peculiar, it is downright hilarious. Yeah, I agree, the jokes need some renovation, I'll get to that; I'll probably mess around with a bunch of different jokes until I find ones that suit the article. hey lj, i just received an 'article warning' from everyone's favorite n00b because i created an article in the mainspace, didn't put enough content in it, and left it with a {{construction}} tag on it. i'm just wondering if i am, in fact at fault, as there aren't any regulations that i can find concerning the minimum content needed for a construction tag. i wouldn't question the reprimand normally, but when it comes from a user who has existed for thirteen days and seems to be overstepping his bounds daily, its kind of annoying.--OfficerGerrycheeversKunTalk 18:19, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

You're certainly not in the wrong. I've seen articles with literally one word and a construction tag keep their stay of execution. However, as a matter of personal taste, I personally like userspace construction because it's a good deal more leisurely. Good day Sir. Don't know if you have noticed the above post, but basically I saw that we sometimes get deleted/kept articles left on the VFD page, so I asked Mr Barron about being a Poopsmith...

Hope you don't think I'm treading on your toes or anything, I'm just trying to help out a bit with VFD. I have done a bit or archiving, and think I know what I'm doing, although I did manage to get banned at one point because TKF (I hope I spelt that correctly) did not know about Zombie's decision. Any comments or tips for an aspiring apprentice Poopsmith? MrN  02:46, Feb 3

Oi. I must be slacking awfully at the moment if Zombie needed to recruit someone new. My suggestions are as follows: Use Firefox; open three tabs: VFD regular, VFD edit page, and Archive page edit mode; use the regular VFD to decide which things to cut from the VFD edit page; paste these into the archive page.

Be sure to do it as quickly as possible without accidentally archiving something you shouldn't. If the archive page gets too big (usually when you start getting a kilobyte message), start a new one and add it to Template:VFDarchive. There's an edit link provided on the template inclusion, so however you feel comfortable.

A word to the wise: always be sure to paste into the archive page immediately after you cut it out. Don't even move to the next section, or you'll find you really frustrate yourself when you accidentally change what's on your clipboard.

A final note: no worries about stepping on toes or territorial crap. I'm sorta swamped because the team that I'm on is coming to its end very soon, and the only Uncyc time I get is stolen on my iPod Touch. So I can't archive when I'm on. Thanks for picking up the slack. Starting next week, I'll be back, and you'll find your job to be a bit easier. But it's always good to have someone on the other side of the pond. Ahh, thank you. I actually was using the 3 tabs thing, and found you had to be quick, as you said edit conflicts are a right pain... I did make the mistake of messing up the clipboard at one point also which is a nightmare, having to go back through the history trying to fix the mess.
