[edit] Image uploads
As you might've noticed, we're having a problem with the ol' image uploads today. We apologize for the inconvenience. Actually, not really, it's entirely Wikia's fault anyway. Just leaving you a message to let you know you're not nuts, it's a technical problem. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • bloggings) MUP 16:39 Sep 29, 2007
[edit] QVFD
This might come in handy for you: QVFD. It's a page where you can list new (under one week old) articles that are obvious one-liners that aren't going to be improved. (Actually, for Vigilance week, there's no time limit at all!) Vigilance is for articles that actually have got, well, stuff, not just "Lol" or random characters. Also check to see if an article's already been listed on QVFD today before you V it, it may save you some V'ing. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • bloggings) MUP 19:14 Sep 29, 2007
[edit] More stuff
Yes, it's me, bothering you yet again. Last time, honest. Did you remember to check the "raw signatures" box in your preferences? Also, Special:Mypage and Special:Mytalk link to the currently logged in user's page and talk, not yours, just so you know. Right, I'm done now. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • bloggings) MUP 22:27 Sep 29, 2007
[edit] Your signature
Don't forget to put [[ and ]] around your name, as well as a space in between "User" and "talk" :P
Plus, nice job with the {{V}}ing and stuff. Keep up the good work, li'l nooblet! --Grand General Wizard Etc x2 and Senator G/K/O/CUNT.K.F. WHORE! ZOTM MAFE VANDL UOTM WOTM TOP10 FP PMOTM UWotM 22:37, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
You win! You got it to work! Congrats. (The reason why it shows up bold and unclickable on your user page is because it links to your user page. It should work just fine on the other pages.) – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • bloggings) MUP 22:42 Sep 29, 2007
- Did you tell this li'l fella about the Subst:Nosubst thing and templating signatures yet? --Grand General Wizard Etc x2 and Senator G/K/O/CUNT.K.F. WHORE! ZOTM MAFE VANDL UOTM WOTM TOP10 FP PMOTM UWotM 22:48, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Nope. Your turn. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • bloggings) MUP 22:48 Sep 29, 2007
lol, thanks muchly Comrades. :P I'm finally through with it for now, and with your help got it done faster then I has anticipated. :P Thanks muchly for all the help. ;) And sure V'ing things has become rather interesting for me, not to mention has good reference to one of my favorite movies of all time. :P I shall continue to "schedule the demolition of the old Parliaments." ;)
And now for the first official time: -St. Fenix (Talk) 22:47, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Here it goes. For time and finger purposes, I'm copying the message I gave to another noob about signatures. Read and weep:
| Create a subpage in your userspace (you know how to do this, right?) and call it User:St. Fenix/sig or something to that effect. Once you have that, you can add all sorts of colors and fonts and words to your signature, as long as you don't make it longer than 55 Xs in a row (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX).
Once you've made your signature, take {{SUBST:nosubst|User:St. Fenix/sig}} and copy it into that Nickname box in your preferences. Make sure to check the raw signatures box beneath it, too, or it won't work. --Grand General Wizard Etc x2 and Senator G/K/O/CUNT.K.F. WHORE! hmmm, no this is all new to me... I shall make sure to give it a shot. :) I never knew you could go about it through that method, I always thought that it was just standard HTML, of which I'm beggining to learn all over again thanks to this little odysey. :P my Wiki-script is in better shape, but not by much. But no worries about copying another message, Its understandable after all. ;) I shall make sure to give that a try in a minute. :)

[edit] Germany
Your own efforts have been noticed by me on Recent Changes over the last few days, and I was actually thinking of creating some sort of award to congratulate you on fighting the good fight; so, this is my opportunity to say thanks for your hard work. I've basically spent the majority of 2007 proof-reading Uncyc - I'm on what was, until recently, a one-man mission to rid the entire wiki of mis-used apostrophes which would have been a Herculean task if ever there was one, so it's good to see someone else round here actually understands the differences between it's and its and nouns and proper nouns. We can make a difference! RabbiTechno 18:38, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- D'oh - guess who forgot he'd ticked 'Raw Signatures'...? RabbiTechno 17:29, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

- No worries Comrade Rabbi, I was able to get to your talk-page easily enough. ;) Either way thanks for the praise, I myself however believe it is unnecesary. :P correct spelling should be something that is ascribed to far more then it really is. I believe the mere fact that you yourself being a grammar Nazi is thanks enough. ;) As for the award, its not something you should worry about, I've not done enough to merit one. :P However if you should like my aid in any particular article in working on apostrophe's and commas feel free to message me here and direct me, I would be more then willing to aid you in your quest especially since it is such a needed and important one here in uncyclopedia. Especially since so many drifting internet users come around and add many stupid bits without any sort of grammar inserted. Which while at times funny, can just be tedious in some articles. :(

As for you Killerfrog (Kermit?) I believe he is speaking about his own signature. ;)

[edit] Keep your nazi crap to yourself
Quite an opening line, but seriously, quit doing it. It just isn't funny when you damage articles like Netherlands/Holland, "The Dutch" or Germans with this sad form of "humor". Splits from Germans/Germany, and other supposably funny 'Greater Germany' crap isn't funny, if you think it is, get a shrink. Fast. Have a nice day.Does it really matter? 16:23, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A Visit from the Rabbi
- He was being a bit of a pain all afternoon yesterday, seems to have a bit of a bee in his bonnet about any mention of the Dutch or the Dutch language for some reason - to the extent of removing a paragraph on the Pennsylvania Dutch from one article, even though it clearly pointed out they're not actually Dutch. My decision was to leave him to it and clear up after him once he'd had enough - I'll check his edits now and see what he's been up to. RabbiTechno 17:11, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- No problems - various users have already been round and sorted things out. :) RabbiTechno 17:15, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vigilance
FYI, Vigilance is a two week long thing held at certain times or the year, not an all-the-time thing. And the time is, um, not now. I've disabled the {{V}} template so nobody else makes this mistake. You might like to familiarise yourself with the Uncyclopedia Deletion Policy. Basically, if you think something should be deleted, use VFD (and be sure to follow the guidelines stated there) for old articles, {{ICU}} for new bad articles up to a week old, and QVFD for anything new that is obviously instant-deletion type stuff. But seriously, helping with tagging article is good, but at least read the deletion policy page before getting into it all. And you can go crazy with {{V}} when the next Vigilance week comes around, by which time I'm sure you'll be more familiar with what to tag and what to tag it with. • Spang • UotF | talk • 21:35, 25 Nov 2007
