Needing Assistance

One of my articles F7 was deleted because of an ICU. I was wondering if I could find out where a backup of this article is located and if there isn't none it could be restored AT LEAST to be put in my userspace? Please? Jimmy the Hellhound 17:19, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, to make things hover over the logo, you'll need some fancy CSS code. I, however, have no idea what that code is. You should ask someone else, because they probably know. Apparently you Huffed it ... can't you unHuff it ... I put a post on a local forum for people to update it ... there are tons of funny things about Eskom ... its a local Electricity provider that is now switching off the electricity in different suburbs for 2 hours at a time every day due to power shortages. Please read our policy on articles like that. Yeah, that's right. "[L]ocal electricity provider[s]" are not widely known, and thus, Eskom was vanity. If you can create a version of the article that is not vanity, it will be kept, based on how funny it is. You will find that "advertise"ing here will get not only your template deleted, but you banned. We don't even like the "Wikia Spotlight". If you'd like more users, the best thing to do is tell everyone that you know personally to join, and then just keep making "quality output" (however that may be defined in the context of your wiki) until people notice you. I'm back!

I stopped contributing for a few months, but now I'm starting to have time to myself again! I left in the middle of writing one page, and the construction template caused it to vist QVFD. Is it possible for you to revive Finding Christian Symbology in Pokémon/List of Events, or am I too late, or was it imposible to revive from the start? Yes, I know you don't care about the unique users you alienate with this bullshit. And, as an admin, sure, you shouldn't care. But I, as a person who uses uncyc as a medium for legitimate humor, feel that its kind of wrongish. Not your holiday, but what it does to people who don't know what the hell we're talking about. And that's the difference between some of our users. Right there. In your comment. Some people find stuff like "I have three red balloons full of tunafish in my other coat", when said in a French accent, to be funny. Others find stuff like "China is a great place to go if you love freedom", to be funny". And still others find stuff like "LOLOLOLOL YOUR MOM IS A ROBOT LOLOLOLOL" to be funny. Sure, there are people in between too, but I don't have the time to go into humour-theory with you at 12:18AM (EST). Basically, you should realize that anything that makes anyone laugh is "legitimate humor (sic)", wether you like it or not. Sure, we like to discourage "LOLOLOL ROBOT" around here, but it is still "legitimate" if it makes people laugh. Anyway, all of us have to get along. Give peace a chance. I think you've confused what we're talking about Kip. We're talking about "ligitimate humor (sic)", not "funny". I defined "legitimate humor" as "Anything that makes anybody laugh", because, ligitimately, that is humour. An individuals opinion, while relevant, cannot be the only peice of information used when determining if something is "ligitimate humor", under the definition which I have just put forward. Therefore, while I appreciate you, as both a valued editor and as a person, aswell as your opinion, THINKER, your opinion isn't where the line is drawn. I can assure you that before I "vandalised" the Main Page, I did consult other users. Also, Kip, I, personally, do not find Encyclopedia Dramatica to be funny, but I do, however, respect the fact that some people acctaully do. Its there life, they can live it how they please. I, in closing, would like to state that a. Not only I find it funny and that b. "abuse of power" is relative to what that power is limited to, and I find "Adding reskins to the Main Page, as created by users to celebrate holidays" to be fully within my power. Therefore, I have no idea what you are so worried about THINKER, all is well.
