template:VoteBox

Hey Zomb - I decided to nix the MonthlyTop10 template and just use your VoteBox. I edited it to make the border color variable (you can use either color names like "blue" or hexadecimal values) because if we're going to use it regularly to make announcements, which I think might be handy, it'll be useful to be able to make it stand out for people to notice when announcements change and so on. —rc (t) 04:30, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Have a quick look at Mr Peanut

Hey, I saw Mr.peanut on the NRV page and saw that it was all about NINJA'S! How could I refuse an attenpt at saving a poor ninja from being huffed. I've made a quick edit of it, and i'm planning on coming back for more punishment fun!. I'd be glad if you could have a look and see if it rated taking off the ICU tag yet or not. Katharine McPhee

Hello, on the 9th you placed an NRV tag on this article. I just found it, and have done some extensive work on it, in an attempt to make it suitable and not-deleteable. I figured I'd tell you and not take that tag off myself or anything, just so you could review it and take it off possibly if you see fit.

If you could let me know if you choose not to, considering I've spent the time I have on it, I'd like to attempt to keep the article alive (and would attempt to improve it more).

Vanity

Hi. I don't understand why my article CSI Swansea was classified a vanity page when it's clearly about a ficitonal program. What can I do to change the article so it fits

  • When I first found it, I thought that the actors were just people who live in Swansea (your friends and such). It seems that at least some of them aren't and are in fact British actors I've never heard of (being Canadain). Hi. You put an 'Ugly' tag on my article, but it's not nearly half as ugly as loads of other ugly articles. Is it the six pictures (shown in two columns) that aren't displaying correctly, or something? If that is the case, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure how to make an appropriate table.   • Okay, I guess its not really that ugly. Its just that the formatting gets kind of repetitive, with the "Something in bold- What it is" repeated over and over. Hiya, just wanted to ask your opinion, as you placed the ICU tag in the first place, which may or may not have led to me editing it. Could you have a look please, then decide if the tag should stay or not. I would remove it, but personally, I still think it's rather crap, for various reasons, which I'll list if you want, but they aren't necessary. I also put it on Pee Review, if that's relevant. banning over Jew bag

I went to my room and thought about what I did and now I am very ashamed of myself. I thought initially that someone was vandalizing my article because they found it offensive to the point of violence/anti-Semitic or something. I'm actually half-Jewish (paternal) so don't be worried about me ubermenching the uncyc community in some kind of skin-head/neo-Nazi coup de grace. I'm also half-vampire (dunpeel) so don't worry about me breaking into uncyclopedia's blood reserves as a thief; I’ll just do it very subtly with minimal slaying if I can help curb my natural urges; however, more zombies is a bad thing??

Before reposting the Jew bag article, I had completely refurbished it to perfect formatting and added some new content and a couple new 'jokes' to it as well. Being new around here just creating articles for fun and not being familiar with VFD and the internal uncyc community of criticism, I've been unawares of that particular article's condemnation.

If you can find it in your heart to slap some nasty anti-Semitic tags right below some Jew tags on my user page for the creation of that article I would greatly appreciate it. --AmericanBastard 22:41, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm strictly against any form of censoring on Uncyclopedia unless it contains graphic depictions "real" content, i.e. (goatse, shock media etc, viet prisoner getting shot with bang gun~slight). Cancer Porn and Holocaust Tycoon for some reason I found amusing; David Gerard has a knack for keeping content remotely subtle yet hilarious. I wish you would reconsider the Jew bag article. It doesn't insinuate any violent tendencies; it just plays off of stereotypes. I can see how the "orange jews" one was a little more on edge b/c it pertained to violence and used its imagery to an inflamatory effect; well, so did holocaust. Tell you the truth, i may have a little jew in my blood; but, I was raised Roman Catholic and the plethora of Jesus articles on Uncyc have not come off yet to offend me as they would a bus load of nuns. I'm a bit concerned about this Mordillo fellow who displays absolutely NO tolerance when it comes to articles that contain anti-semitical references. This noticeably happens to offend him/her.
