Asking for an opinion
Dear Zombiebaron, I have made my very first... 'editing', anyway I'd like to ask an opinion on whether or not it satisfies the Uncyclopedia standards, I think you can find out what I edited right? Thank you. --S-Ranker 15:38, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

FU ZOMBIEBARON!!!!1
Dear Zombiebaron. FU! I mean seriously, I've been begging to win UGotM for ages now, and you just have to go out and spoil my dream. I'm a noob, i didn't know that you could only vote once, It doesn't state that on the UGotM page. I nommed your image for vfh, and This is how you repay me? I sincerely beg for you to make an exception of the "cannot be banned for more than one day" rule, and redo the voting for UGotM.--
22:18, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- While I thank you for nominating my image for VFP, that has nothing to do with this. You cannot bribe admins with nominations. I am of the beliefe that users who "want" awards are the ones that shouldn't get it. Scientists who set out writing papers and inventing this just to get a Nobel Prize shouldn't get it, and the same is true on Uncyclopedia. That aside, what you did was wrong. It is a general unwritten rule that nobody votes against anouther user on an award unless they have a real reason, and that is especially true for voting against other users so that you will win an award. I can't really expect you to have known that, but this is how you learn. So far I can see no reason why you should win UGotM this month. -- Major Sir Zombiebaron GUN • WotM • UotM • PotM • AotM • EGAEDM • UPotM • MAFE • ZotM • IotM • VotM • UGotM (shout) 22:40, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- I understand your reasoning for stopping me from winning UGotM, but at the moment, the only people who are real candidates for it are Me and Starnestommy. Starnestommy was banned for reasons worse than mucking around on UGotM, and I, after this, am no longer eligible for UGotM. this leaves us with exactly 0 legal votes for it. If another suitable candidate happens to come along for the award comes along, let it be so, but if not, we may find ourselves in a position with no UGotM. Also, the fact that you banned me twice proves that the only reason you banned me for a day and 2 seconds was to make me an illegal candidate for UGotM, which left only one remaining candidate with a chance: Stm. This also happens to be the same candidate which You nommed for the award. Because my offences were fairly mild (you'd have to admit), the only reason you banned me was so that your candidate of choice, stm, would win UGotM, in place of the candidate which had the majority of votes, who was me. Before I continue, however, I would like your opinion on what I have just said.--

Sorry to butt in, but I like to change a rule on UGotM. Change "Any nominee cannot have been banned for longer than a day, for at least the previous month." to "Any nominee cannot have been banned for longer than a day, for at least the previous month. If you were blocked AFTER you were nommed, then you are still eligable." This wasy we wouldn't have this mess and Starnestommy, Metropolis, and Zerotrousers would still have won the award. --AAA! - Thanks AAA!. I totally agree.--

- I'm going to start a petition for this on miniluv, actually.
- I disagree tottally. UGotM is a joke. It is not a serious award, but a full fledged joke. I makes me sad when people take UGotM seriously, and that is why I seem to be this hard-nosed-motherfucker-of-an-admin who banned you Zerotrousers. It's a joke man! Go nominate someone who doesn't deserve it, and maybe someday when you are well respected and a wonderful contributor, you will be the Useless Gobshite too. -- Major Sir Zombiebaron GUN • WotM • UotM • PotM • AotM • EGAEDM • UPotM • MAFE • ZotM • IotM • VotM • UGotM (shout) 04:03, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Zombiebaron: I also totally agree. That UGotM is a joke, and that is why i am so upset that you had to make such a fuss over me voting twice. Who cares? All i want is a fancy template to put on my user page and to actually win an award. Also, there are lots of uncyclopedians who don't know that I exist, so me winning the award might alert them of my presence. I don't want to make a big fuss of UGotM. I just want to win it. Nuff said. Also it sounds funny. That too.--
05:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Why do you care about people knowing who you are through your winning of an award? Go out and make some wonderful contributions and everyone will know who you are. Also, I'm not making a big deal out of it. Were Braydie (for example) to make several votes against everybody other then him nominated for an award, I would ban him too, and probably for several weeks. -- Major Sir Zombiebaron GUN • WotM • UotM • PotM • AotM • EGAEDM • UPotM • MAFE • ZotM • IotM • VotM • UGotM (shout) 18:22, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, Ok, you win. Just promise me that you will put a warning on all the major awards that you'll get banned if you vote more than once.--
06:52, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- That isn't why you were banned. You were banned because you voted multiple times in order to win the award. Had you voted for everyone other then yourself, I would have just gently reminded you of the rules. -- Major Sir Zombiebaron GUN • WotM • UotM • PotM • AotM • EGAEDM • UPotM • MAFE • ZotM • IotM • VotM • UGotM (shout) 15:17, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Korean Air
Dearest Mr/Ms Zom…whatever,
Um… maybe I’m missing the point here, but after carefully making sure to read the sage advice found here (http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Uncyclopedia:How_To_Be_Funny_And_Not_Just_Stupid) I took to heart what was written there and mixed ample amounts of fact with humor. Much to my surprise, you took the liberty of extricating the page on Korean Air. OK… um… so school me. How does one meet your stringent requirements? I read the background page before contributing and I either failed to understand the meaning, or I failed to discover some additional page of information that revealed the nugget of truth (i.e. the list of taboo topics). The quaint note left in the wake of the extrication was (Stolen from those fact jockies.) with a link. Um… I see… so, let me get this right. Anything over “there” is taboo? While on the one hand we would follow the suggestion above and surround humor with fact, on the other hand if any of the facts are also found “over there” then they are taboo? So, for example, the substantial list of air disasters can’t be shown in chronological order because “over there” they use chronological order. They can’t be shown as per actual flight and date because, after all, “over there” shows the flight and date. Anything they do “over there” is to be avoided?
I smell the mighty blue pencil of a humor editor. Did the humor editor find something not to his or her linking? Now I can see why so much pride is taken in stating how many pages are axed each day…. I’m simply not sophisticated enough to get it.
So what are your hoops and where do I find the real instruction manual for jumping through them? (tilde tilde tilde tilde)

DUP article ICU'd for 'just a list'
It's not supposed to be 'just a list'. I'll admit that there is a large block that looks like a list in there but it's actually a very specific block of text. It's not a 24-point-setup and 1-point-punchline, it's the entirety of the Nazi party 25-point-plan with every reference (but one) to Germany replaced with Ireland. The point is, it's not supposed to be read as a funny list, it's supposed to be read as a political plan which, by about point 15, the reader should be twigging might have something to do with Nazis (I left every use of the word 'reich' in). It's a bit of a slow joke and, although after someone has twigged, the rest of the plan is a bit extraneous, unless all 25 points are quoted, it's no longer a rip-off of the Nazi party plan and hence no joke at all. Is it genuinely not funny (as a whole)? (now that it's been explained) or was it just a bit too obscure? You're welcome to take that block out if you want, but I won't mutilate my own article to remove something I find genuinely funny. Gerkin 22:55, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
