[edit] The Movie
V for Vendetta is loosely based on the popular children's novel of the same title. The title character was known for attempting to teach kids that at some point, they must fight against their opressors. The main character, the letter V, used various simple explosives to wrench the government into chaos to bring about a world he called "The Land of Do-As-You-Please". The story is considered very controversial by many parents, who do not believe that home-made bombs and revenge are things that children of that age level should be learning. Cthulhu disagrees.
[edit] The Crisis
Despite the South Dakotan belief that V is an unnecessary letter, various violent outbursts blew out at the vanishing of such a versatile verbiage. Verbosity ensued, except within the very grounds of the state, where the vox populi was somewhat victimized--while feigning a vivaciousness of vocabulary.

[edit] 5th of November - The Terrorist Arrives
An unplanned demolition rocked the Capital city--since renamed to City One--late in the evening, November 5th. The city court house is destroyed, and fireworks are set off. A few days later, SDTN (South Dakota Tele-ision Network) is broken into by a terrorist wearing an Aaron Burr mask. Rumors begin to circulate that the Terrorist is somehow involved in the original bombing, when the old Courthouse is blown up as well. Police begin questioning a young girl in connection with the terrorist, who refers to himself as "Codename V", although the SDTN refers to him as "The Forbidden Letter".
A few days later, the terrorist tracks down a man who is fairly high up in the government system. Citizens everywhere are worried as POWER stops speaking to them. The terrorist is later implicated in the death of a high-powered bishop and a coroner. A few months go by, and the terrorist is virtually silent; the young girl had disappeared; and people begin to think that both have died.
- Eventually... Victory?
