Wade Welles

Wade Welles is the best friend of Quinn Mallory ever since they both had a part time job at the Bank of San Francisco. After having slid into a thousand different worlds during 5 years, Quinn, Wade and their friends professor Arturo and Rembrandt Brown are back home on our good old world.

In her early life Wade was a smart and talented girl in different areas. She studied arts and had talent in writing emotional things such as poems. She was a bright student and fascinated in religion but also the unknown. She studied at the same university as Quinn and that she where she knows professor Arturo from although she never followed any of his classes, because she followed a completely different course.

Because Wade always kept a diary even before she was sliding, undoubtedly there is a lot of information inside her diaries about the lots of wonders she and her friends have seen over the years. Unfortunately the SAA of Stephen Hawkings won't let any of the Sliders come out public with their stories. He has been working against real scientists for years. Although Wade so far did not have the chance to come out in public with her stories a small part of their adventures leaked through. The mainstream public knows that they went to an earth where the Russians rule America, a world where the women are in charge and where the dinosaurs are still alive. It's also general knowledge that something terrible happened to Wade while sliding once. Nobody knows exactly what happened to Wade but they do know that she was captured by Kromaggs.
Kromaggs are ape-like men that have a bigger brain than humans. On our world they died off million years ago. While Wade was captured by the Kromaggs she was being held in a Kromagg breeding camp. Speculations have been made that she was raped there and had to breed a new generation of Kromaggs for them.

Since 2000 Wade has been back to this earth. Fortunately all of her friends survived as well. Now that things settled down Wade and Quinn Mallory realised their feelings for eachother that were there all along. She married Quinn last year and are happy to finally be able to have some rest and a happy life to some degree. Because as long as the SAA will exist their lives will never be completely safe.

Wade has an evil double sliding around the multiverse, but the evil double spells her last name Wells instead of Welles.
