White Cobra

The White Cobra unit is an elite Special Operations Unit of the Beckstockian Army under the Command of General Adder. White Cobra was created by General Adder following the liberation of Ustio during the Belkan War. White Cobra is known to be one of the few units of the Beckstockian Military that can operate largely autonomously from the rest of the Beckstockian Military, provided that any autonomous action carried out serves Beckstockian interests.

Prior to the liberation of Ustio, the White Cobra were a standard Infantry unit known as the 6789th. After the Beckstockian High Command became aware of how skilled and effective the Adder and his men were, he was approached and given the opportunity to convert the 6789th into a Special Operations unit. Adder excepted the offer and as such the 6789th ceased to exist. Adder was then allowed to "rebuild" the unit, giving it a new name and unique uniform (as is normal for Special Operations Units). After reading about the liberation of Ustio in a Beckstockian newspaper and seeing that he and his men were described as "Heros who struck with the speed and aggressiveness of a Beckstockian White Cobra", he decided to name his new unit White Cobra.

[edit] Operation Crimson Tiger (June 7, 1995)
On June 6, 1995, Belka's military top brass ordered that 7 nuclear bombs be dropped to create an impassable nuclear barrier and fend off the Allied advance on Belka, following this action the Allied forces and most of Belka considered the fighting over. Despite the official end of hostilities, several Belkan Military units refused to surrender and thus, in a way, a whole new War began. White Cobra were one of the many units assigned to deal with the small number of renegade Belkan units.
The day after the Belkan's dropped the 7 nuclear bombs, Adder and the rest of White Cobra went to the village of Hören, a small, beautiful, village in North Belka. According to a report filed by Adder shortly after the operation was considered completed essentially states that White Cobra went to Hören as they believed several of the renegade Belkan units were using it as an HQ. Upon arriving in the Hören, Adder ordered his men to begin killing everyone as they "could not be sure who in the village was working with the renegade Belkan units." Luckily for the people of Hören, the would-be massacre was cut short, when White Cobra received a message regarding a genuine location of a renegade Belkan unit, thus White Cobra left the village. Though a full scale massacre in Hören was avoided, White Cobra were responsible for the deaths of 12 people living there.
[edit] Operation Blood Arrow (1997)
White Cobra aided the Usean Continental terrorist group the "Usean Liberation Front" in seizing control of Intolerance fortress, a fortification in North Point, and 2 Dragonet class submarines, the pride of North Point's Navy. White Cobra then betrayed the group and joined the fight alongside the countries whom had allied to defeat them (one of which was Beckstockia). It is still unclear why the White Cobra aided the Usean Liberation Front to begin with, though countless Beckstockian Presidential Administrations since have continually reassured the various ISAF member States that Beckstockia had no true allegiance to the group.
[edit] First attempt at assassinating Ammar Fahad (1999)
On April 4, 1999, White Cobra were deployed to the Middle Eastern Nation of Qumar and ordered to assassinate Ammar Fahad, leader of "The Shining Hand", a radical Islamic terrorist group whom have been a thorn in Beckstockia's side for many years. The assassination attempt ended in failure.

White Cobra fought as part of ISAF's forces during the Usea Continental War.
[edit] Second attempt at assassinating Ammar Fahad (2007)
In 2007 White Cobra were again deployed to Qumar in a second attempt to assassinate Ammar Fahad, the second attempt also ended in failure.
[edit] Operation Relner (2008)
On May 7, 2008, an unnamed terrorist group in the in the Usea Continent Nation of Ugellas that had their HQ in the city of Hymn attempted an uprising to overthrow the Government. Beckstockia decided to intervene and Adder, White Cobra and a vast number of standard Army units under Adder's command were deployed to deal with the terrorist threat, rather than waste time ordering his men to search Hymn, he ordered them to begin destroying the city, anticipating that the terrorists would either be killed over the course of the course of the bombing or give themselves up as soon as their friends and loved ones started getting killed. Adder's despicable, underhand tactic worked and the terrorists were apprehended, however a great deal of civilian lives were lost and as such Adder's methods of dealing with the situation were criticised and denounced by the international Military community.
[edit] The Osea-Yuktobania War (September 23-December 30, 2010)
Prior to realising that the War between Osea and Yuktobania had been orchestrated by Belka, Beckstockia allied with Yuktobania in its fight against Osea and its Allies, White Cobra were deployed to fight alongside Yuktobanian forces.

After realising the entire war was in fact instigated by Belka, White Cobra joined the fight against the Belkan Warmongers responsible.

[edit] The Nerrak Massacre (15 June, 2010)
On 15 June, 2010, White Cobra came to the Nation of Estovakia on the Anea Continent, more specifically, they went to the village of Nerrak. Upon arrival in Nerrak they began to kill, men, women and children for no reason at all. The massacre ended after 2 hours, 715 people were killed. It has been confirmed that Adder was not ordered to carry out the massacre as part of a mission...he simply ordered the people of the village killed simply for being Estovakian. The massacre was really little more than a mammoth racist attack.

Following Beckstockia's defeat by ISAF, ISAF deemed in the treaty used to bring the War to an end that White Cobra would have to cease Military operations. Officially White Cobra's operations have indeed ceased, however it is rumoured that they have became a private military company.
