Wristbands are thin pieces of rubber which allow a person to prove that, beyond a doubt, they are empathetic. Actually giving money to charities isn't required to wear one - since expressing support of a cause is more than enough to prove that they a caring and sensitive soul.
The fact that people buy most wristbands from eBay, not the charities themselves, doesn't matter - because -like xmas- it's the thought that counts. And, to dispel rumours, people never buy them for fashion. Anyone that buys them is a good person, final.
