XRSU387 Niflheim

The XRSU387 "Niflheim" is a state of the art Multi-Role combat aircraft developed by Beckstockian Defence contractor enterprise, the Mirage Defence Corporation. Thus far only one has been produced.

The basic concept for the Niflheim was drawn up following the conclusion of the Circum-Pacific War. Kaiser Arms Production Inc. put the idea forward, however it became apparent that such an ostentatious project would demand far grander resources, hence the project was put to one side.

It was not until the merger between Beckstockia's "Kaiser Arms Production Inc", San Salvacion's "Armacham Technologies"and Yuktobania's "Nordyne Defence Dynamics" (there are also rumours that the remnants of 2 largely defunct companies made up part of the corporate merger) to become the Mirage Defence Corporation on April 17, 2011 that the XRSU387's development and construction became a top priority project for Mirage.

The Niflheim has been designed specifically for the purpose of giving Beckstockia air superiority over just about every other country on in the World. It has been fitted with:

Burst Missiles (Originally a weapon of the Belkan ADFX-02 Morgan)
D.O.S. (Digital Optical Stealth, originally utilized by the Democratic Republic of Leasath's Gleipnir and Fenrir)
Long Range Shock Wave Missiles (LSWM) (Another weapon taken from the Fenrir)
An ECM defence network
Thrust vectoring
In-flight refuelling capabilities.
